Open wide to all this emotive resonance
These platitudes of wonderful possibility

In the same wilderness my mind wanders
Roam lessons forgotten and found again,
Released back out into the dark
To resolve and know again
And again
Catch and release
Awaiting a more complete fable to return

Lost in this,
These lovely wooded columns
Become the palace of my memory

I am trapped in wonder
Breathless by the enormity of it all

I sleep just to dream
Only to pass the time.
